Modena Italy
I have chosen this photo of Modena Italy that I found on Flickr, it was posted by Bumpy Tours (Andre and Edward). The reason this photo inspired me is because my daughter is currently In Modena on exchange for 2 months, she arrived there yesterday at about 5pm Italy time which is midnight our time here in Western Australia. How lucky she is to see such a beautiful place. If you go to flickr and search for Modena Italy you will find some wonderful photos and also some great art work. Modena is well known for its art galleries and fast cars. It is also home of a very famous and popular brand of Olive oil, now it is home to my lovely daughter Sarah (for 2 months only). Have fun Sarah and enjoy being the first member of your family to see snow.

Modena was a beautiful place to visit and I enjoyed my time there! I also did an italian exchange program while in high school, which was wonderful. I stayed in Bari, Apulia (the heel of italy). I still keep in contact with my "Italian Family".
ReplyDeleteWhat a place to visit! She is a very lucky girl.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful opportunity for your daughter
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great place to visit:)
ReplyDeletethis sound like a fantastic place, what an experience for her, maybe you go post more stuff about this fantastic place on your blog, or maybe your daughter could do a blog if she hasnt already.
ReplyDeleteThe Internet is great for keeping in touch with family when they are away- google maps, email, blogs. A far cry from the postcard that arrives weeks later
ReplyDeleteLove your background
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo and what a lucky girl your daughter is. I have been to Italy but never had the pleasure of visiting Modena.
